No. Depending on your graphics card (nvidia or ati) go into there and mess around the Resolution settings. Look for any value higher than 85hz. The monitor properties only affect the current resolution you are in, and AFAIK BF2 starts default in 1024x768, so check with that first.

Again it's only if your videocard is forcing a hz at that resolution.
