With the end of summer nearing and the admins coming out of hibernation a date has been set for signups to open. Mark down August 22nd on your calendar and set your alarm for 20.00 PRT because its going to be a bloodbath just trying to grab your spot on a team!


Signups will take place using the Soldier CP, a portion of the tournament site that was developed by [T-ADM]gmt2001. It allows for team management, rank management, and user moderation. Using this system during the campaign allows for greater control of officers over their team, and now using it for signups allows the constant ability to sign up whenever the team capacity drops below 60 people. After much work and testing it has been determined that this system is now fully functional. Once you have signed up you will immediately have access to your team. Your officers can then look at your signup data in the soldier cp and assign you to a squad.


C8 Highlights

    * Fully automated signups. As soon as a member gets kicked off of your team another player can join to take his place. No more random signup periods!
    * Updated BattlePlanner. Using the power of AJAX we have made the BattlePlanner more responsive and faster, and what we couldn't make faster we programmed to make temporarily client side. So when you place that new marker it will appear instantly without any reloads. If it is successfully created then it will stay, if not it will disappear.

It's a tournament campaign. Basically you sign up, get enlisted, join an army, join a battlion, do some training, then theres a fight every saturday or something thats like 12 hours long and its based on all the maps and muck. idunno how to explain it

Well because of the BF2 engine limits of 64 players, it doesn't really excite me.

I used to play these in DOD, and it was 32 people.

PRT is apparently the best thing PR gameplay there is.

My clan has a 32 man Chicago server we could use.. I'd prefer not to use it but if it is our only option then it is available.

The location is stateside, Chicago.

There's 20 bucks in the account now, and if noone steps up and uses it, or donates, I'm not throwing more money away at it.  It's going to be dead at the end of this month otherwise..
