Hi, I don't think we discussed a map did we? how about Baghdad ?Also we're aware of ESL's point system but would like to suggest using a system that we've been using for our own ladder which awards teams for holding points and works better as their is less draws....What do you think?
Firefight:Win: 1ptWin in under 5 min: 2ptsWin in under 2 min: 3ptsPush:Defender win: pts = objectives held (Max 3)Attacker win: 3ptsBattle: Win (most objectives held): pts = winning team objs - loosing team objectives (max 2pts)All-out win (captured all objectives): 3ptsMorale (score):Team with highest morale gets 1pt per double [add up morale totals from all rounds, if team A's morale is higher than team B's morale, then team A gets 1 point; if 2x higher, 2 points; if 3x higher, 3 points.(this last bit solves any ties, and I think it's nice to award initiative)
40min or so to go and we have our team ready

I gotta say the example i copy and pasted is a bit confusing.Basically it's 1pt for each objective held at the end of the round. So on baghdad for example:If you're marines and you hold C until the end of the round then the score for that round would be 3-2 for the marines. We each play 2 rounds as marines and 2 as INS, after 4 rounds we simply add the total score for the final verdict. How does that sound? You're suggestion wouldn't work even if agreed since it's known the current INS scoreboard (moral/kill count) is bugged. let me know if its all clear now.
And how is the morale system bugged exactly? I hadn't noticed. (unless you are talking about the occasional tally switch?)
P.S. - An alternative way to score firefight maps for my proposed method, would be to award 3pts for a win, and in case of a tie if there is a difference in objectives held at the end of the round, award the difference in pts (maximum of 2pts) to the team with more objectives held.
