It has finally begun i have started the process of making a men of war mod for the sake of a good modern war style RTS and it is based off an old mod that was never finished and i have made it my duty to resurrect it by scrapping all the old data and creating my own using the mods custom models and equipment and here is my first screen shot.



This is the first soldier type i made for the new assault squad for america.

So...feedback on the first test.

1. Make the names of things readable.

2.The Mujaheddin need 1 or 2 anti-tank grenades  (Regular conscript squad)

3.There should be RPKs in the Mujaheddin squads

4.Vehicles need to be killable.

5.The RPG. It needs to be buffed. I have a list of features that aren't In-game currently.

*300m effective range vs. moving targets/500m effective range against stationary.

*Hit Probabilities 
Range     Percent
50 m     100%
100 m     96 %
200 m     51 %
300 m     22 %
400 m     9 %
500 m     4 %

*10m Kill Radius  15m wound radius

*Penetration

Material                    Penetration

Sandbags                             90"

Reinforced Concrete               18"

Earth Log Bunkers                  60"

Basically, the RPG-7 can go through or blow up pretty much any material in MoW.

6. US Troops are pretty good, just add one guy with a full auto M4 to a regular squad. (You can probably just take the M16 model and modify the values)

7.Mujaheddin need suicide bombers.

V0.02 is up and includes:
Iran as an independent faction with a small mix of good infantry and a humvee
Mujahadeen gains the Tecnical
Americans buffed and slowed with higher cost to get troops
RPG7 is now better with higher damage and increased range and power
All Factions have less grenades
Units cheaper or more expensive based on yesterdays kills to deaths in the films
Mujahadeen have ppsh-41 infantry and are more versatile and faster
New weapons added to all factions
Most armored vehicles weakened
M16 lost 10 bullets in the clip for a range boost
Rangers added
Barret 50cal added for America
LESS AMMO FOR RPG TROOPS TO REDUCE MULTI PURPOSE SUPPORT SQUAD USE
mg3 added for Irans support weapon

After playtesting V 0.02, gotta say, its amazing. The only things that could use a bit of changing is the guns' effective range. Make troops able to shoot ~150m when in direct control or they have a LOS to the target.

Real guns can shoot much farther, but this is for balance's sake.

Some feedback:

*RPG is pretty much perfect. It might do it good to tweak it a bit, but its great for now.

*Mujaheddin need 1 PKM in a regular INF squad.

*Maybe up the grenade throw distance?

*Mujaheddin need Molotovs.

*The PPsH is a little broken, it currently can't be reloaded.

Thats about all, its brilliant so far.

*You should make a combat medic squad.   3 US Marines with MP5s carrying an piffload of bandages.

Thx for the feedback it's useful and it's just me modding it so I'm working as quickly as I can for the next update only been working for 2 days and hope to get past alpha testing after the weekend for my mod db release.

Bmp is coming next with the armor addon as well as a new faction hehe it'll be great and I NEED TESTERS FOR THE MOD GET The game and support LMC by giving a hand to your fellow man and help the mod along big plans ahead and the only information for now is that WAR is coming to men of war by this mod. Even if you don't own this game leave a suggestion below for the mod and what I should put in to make it more like a real war!
