Seriously, The rocks in this game are about as addictive as another rock... haha

I finally got the hang of the survival mode, and it just keeps getting better. I feel like I am so late to the game though

That's because you are. Survival used to be nothing, now it actually takes some thought and planning to live. Plus 1.9 was just "leaked"/pre-released yesterday :D

been playing minecraft since it was still in alpha (bought it when it only had creative) so i'd be glad to add your (whoever is running the server) to my server list

So we are now going to seriously re-visit this idea. 

We have the hardware.  We can dedicate a machine to run a 12-15 player Minecraft server, perhaps more.  Is this still a feasible option?  Do people still play this game?  Are any here interested in this idea and would like to talk more? 

We would love to start a Minecraft server if there is enough player interest.

My son was hosting a server on my machine  and I know ppl will pay for admin on a minecraft server. Well his friend got tired of me shutting it down because it is a ram hog to host and for me PR is more important lol. Anyway I think we should  have a meeting on this and could even take a forum vote to see the interest in it. FYI my son can admin I know his age is issue for K but he is better and more mature than me at being admin. I know of 5 ppl I can get to populate it right now. P.S. My son also got al lthe mods and with a little help from a friend installed them and got them working  :P

Ok, so since there is such support for this game lets put it up!  We have a box capable of running one with plenty of ram and bandwidth.  I'll put it up sometime during this weekend or early next week. 

The more people that play on it the better obviously.  I will let everyone know once the stock server has been set up, make sure its working and then try and throw on the mods.

Put up a 10 player Minecraft server.  Need to test it and see if it runs stable or if anyone can even connect to it.

Current IP of server is 96.250.44.198:25565

Please let me know if it is working ok.  I do not have the game so I can not connect to it.
