AIRSOFT
« on: October 24, 2011, 08:25:02 PM »
I'm not exactly sure how many other airsoft threads are out there, but I'm curious to see how many other airsofters are in LMC. I also believe that it would be rather cool to maybe meet up with any LMC airsofters that may be living in the eastern US at any larger OPs  ;D

For starters, I know more about airsoft than I can apply due to budget issues...being 16 years old without a driver's license, living in the middle of nowhere, and only having a sucky dishwashing job at the only nearby business really limits me on how much money I have to spend. Oh...and the PC I just built kinda drained all of my money.

For the most part, all of my gear is either current issue or former issue with the US Army...so don't expect anything special coming from that department until I have a way to build up more revenue xD
I'm still not exactly way high up there as far as professional AEGs go; I only have a JG M4 CQB (which is in pieces) and a G&G M4 Combat Machine which I have extensively customized.

If anyone else here enjoys airsofting at all, please let me know  :D

Hey!  I enjoy airsoft too!  I just started getting back into it after like a year.  Me and a friend may start up a team around Western Massachusetts.  If you live close we should have a small game or something when I buy some gear.

I'd love to try it. I'm only a couple hours from western Mass. (I'm in Albany)

I live in western PA, so I'm thinking that distance may be an issue here xD
But if we could maybe get into OP: Northern Lights that takes place out in northeastern PA, I think we may be able to meet up for a bit...and hopefully buy tickets to participate on the same team. As for starting up, I can see the massive expenses for OPs like this adding up very quickly...and I sure hope those expenses don't turn you away from this wonderful sport  :D

Yeah I wasn't thinking about the costs...  that might be an issue.  I don't really make much cash right now and I'm saving for new parts for my computer.  If we planned it far ahead we might actually be able to make this happen I have no problem with driving to upstate NY, I hear Binghamton has an airsoft league.  Thats basically halfway from PA as it is from MA.

Purchased a new plate carrier with a dump pouch, mag pouch and utility pouch. I love it. I'll post pictures if requested :)

OH and Truevibe/Kauai there's a place in NH I go to quite a bit, always a lot of fun

One of my first jobs was at an airsoft store in Oklahoma. Haven't touched any of my gear since my freshman year of college though.
