From what I've seen, these guys are very skilled players... I think a scrimmage would prove to be a great challenge and good fun.

Anyone want to propose a date and time to scrim [ANZINS] ? =)
I'll put up a sign-up sheet, but I'd like to make sure it's a time that will work for most.

Well nobody wants to propose a date, so I'll start! (although a little more member initiative would be nice fellas, you are leaving it all to the leaders eh? )

Pick-Up Game with [ANZINS]

When: Wed 12/16 10pm EST
Where: LMC INS Pub

No sign-up necessary for a PUG, just be there!

How a Pick-Up game is structured:
Loose and friendly, non-formal, challenging team play. No scores, no bragging rights. Rules set by team captains, team captains elected by sponsoring clans/teams/communities or elected by popular vote.
Spectators allowed (ghosting and cheating is NOT allowed), to learn and study teamwork or if busy. Play by invite only, only experienced players preferred, only team-work oriented players. Games can be themed or structured at will.

Proposed structure:
Two teams led by ANZINS and LMC. Team Captains elected by ANZINS and LMC members, team captains agree on rules, and dictate strategy for team.

I have a sign-up sheet posted in the competition board of the members-only area, for the scrim this Friday.

The PUG is just an idea to get to know each-other before then, have fun, and get warmed-up.

I'll be there for both!

Hi, Unfortunately the notice for the friendly pug today came in such short notice that i'm afraid we couldn't make it.

I can field 1 ANZINS team for Friday at the same time though. also I noticed you mentioned playing on your server.. the problem with that is we get high pings, could i suggest we play on our US based ESL server found on this IP: 8.6.2.222:27015

so hopefully we're still good for Friday.

You are saying you can't make a PUG tomorrow night? cool cool, that still leaves a scrim on Friday.

Playing on your server would be fine! Whatever works best really. I wonder why you get high pings on our server though =(... our server is in NY, and I figure that's the closest it can get to Europe... Where is your server and what hosting company do you use out of curiosity (I ask because the reason we have our server in NY is precisely so that our Euro players will have decent ping too, if there is a better way, I'd love to be enlightened!).

We're from Aus/NZ so the closest US server to us would be west coast servers, that's where we have ours.  for EU players east coast servers would be better for them.

AAAAhhhhhh... roger! =) Our next INS server will be a west coast server (tactical server to lock for scrims and matches too)... Whenever we end-up getting that... we are in slow time (member activity-wise) and so are having a hard time just getting our pub server populated at times. =P It always picks back up though!

We've already got 3 signed up for the scrim on Friday, and I've heard others say they should be able to make it... so I think we should definitely have enough.
