HOW TO: Request a ban
« on: November 14, 2008, 11:08:42 pm »
In order to request a ban (this goes for members and non-members) please include the following in your post:

1.  STEAM ID and NAME of offending player.  Get this by bringing up the console (` key) and typing in status...select and copy his information.

2.  Evidence.  This can be in either screenshot or demo form.  In order to record a demo, go into your console (after enabling it in advance keyboard options) and type in "record xxx" without the quotation marks and replacing 'xxx' with the name of the player.  After you finish recording, the .dem file can be located in your Insurgency game directory
(C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\yoursteamname\insurgency\insurgency\) where you can upload it to MediaFire or another hosting service so that we can download it.

For images, hit F9 in order to take them...they are saved in your
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\yoursteamname\insurgency\insurgency\screenshots folder.  Upload to Imageshack.us or another hosting service and post it in your complaint.  Also mention if there were any LMC members/admin on the server during the time of the incident.  If you could get a copy of the console logs to verify this would be very helpful (be sure to type in status).

Reasons to report people:
    Hacking
    Glitching
    Exploiting
    Racism
    Disrespecting LMC members
    Mic Spam
Recruiting (eg: "Hey anybody looking for a clan?")
    Offensive spray/name
    Teamkilling
    Spawn camping/raping
    General Asshattery

We will thoroughly review your report, and dish out the justice if need be.

Thanks!
