LMC Code of Conduct

Maturity
 (Self-Control to follow this code, Awareness to know when you have violated it, and making the Choice to honor it.)


Respect (Consideration, and deference when possible)
  • Treat all people with consideration.
  • Make an effort to accommodate other peoples requests.
  • Do not intentionally offend others.
  • Respect the opinions and beliefs of others.


Wisdom (The coordination of knowledge, experience, and understanding)
  • Know and understand our rules, and structure.
  • Be aware, and learn from your experiences.
  • Be prudent when judging another person.
  • Know when to agree-to-disagree.

Loyalty (Faithful to, and supportive of, our cause and customs)
  • Support LMC administration and government.
  • Do not violate LMC privacy, or confidence.

Honor (Morality, Integrity, Justice)
  • Do not take advantage of others.
  • Do not reciprocate aggression or disrespect.
  • Do the right thing, not the easy thing.
  • Act with morality and integrity in public.
  • Be just and fair in making decisions.

Benevolence(Kindness, doing good, forgiveness)
  • Practice patience with all people.
  • Interact with others in a friendly manner.
  • Avoid negativity.

Honesty (Never to lie, impeccable truth in communication)
  • Do not lie in LMC official inquiries.
  • Never bear false witness.
  • Strive to communicate clearly and truthfully.

New members and LMC Friends should especially read it, since some implications of the CoC are not immediately apparent.
The posts are long but you should at least read the first section (bullet points and immediately following).
