yeah but I'm already First Aid and CPR certified... and I HATE lectures given in monotone. =P

Yeah atleast when I took Combat Life saver course in the Army they would often times cut you down with rude comments and or yell on occasion, thenthere was story time when an instructor would give a real world scenario that they experienced themselves. Made it worth the blah,blah,blah, But in reality if you didn't pay attention people failed or passed but couldn't really perform when needed.

My instructor saved a kid's life who had been face down floating in a pool (drowned) for 6 minutes, he did CPR for 4 minutes before the child got a pulse again. Never give up (well... at 15 minutes I'd call it inevitable, but I'd have faith till then). Btw, amazingly the child had no permanent brain-damage, full recovery.
