Tekkit I & Tekkit II Technical Server Update

Hey Guys! Looks like we are having some technical difficulties on the server box.  I had it working for a brief while, but it started acting up again and it became pretty clear the problem is the Power supply.  Looks like we will have to replace it.   

The Servers were going down because the box was losing power periodically or it was being interrupted. 

We will be ordering a new power supply unit, which will take a couple of days to receive and install.

We ordered the power supply this morning. It should arrive by tomorrow and hopefully the server will be back up by tomorrow night. Let's hope everything moves smoothly.

Well, I replaced the Power Supply, but it turns out that the old one might have caused some corruption.  I am getting various blue screen errors. 

I am trying to do repairs without having to reformat everything, but it might come to that unfortunately.  I will keep you guys posted.

Worse than I thought.  Looks like the PSU fried the motherboard.  It was getting progressively worse.  It even blue screened during windows setup which was a very bad sign.  It made my heart sink. 

Looks like we are ordering a new motherboard.  I wish we can order it from Newegg, but it is only available on ebay which will take 3-6 days to get here.

Just ebay'ed a new motherboard. The auction doesn't end until 6 days and it probably won't get here probably until 3-6 days after.

In the meanwhile, so as to not waste more time, I'll put the servers up on our main box so that you can get started on new worlds and then transfer those onto our other box after it is repaired.

Servers are back up on our main box.  I white-listed and op'ed the names I remembered for both servers which are:

frostic7734

I don't remember the minecraft gaming handles of others, including you zynx.  Please post them here if you need to be white-listed.
 
OR if you remember your friends names then please post the names for them.

Apologies for the technical difficulties. We couldn't foresee a catastrophic failure like that. It just happened and we are doing our best to come back from it in the most expedient and headache free manner. 

Please let me know if there is anything else that needs to be done.  We will be transferring over the new worlds to the other box once the parts come in and it is running smoothly again. Thanks guys.
