Valve Working on a Steam Gaming Console?

Oh my Goodness. Say it ain't so.  If they actually make this console, it will be like porting all our PC annoyances with steam to a damn box!  I hope this dies.

Well, if someone is going to battle it out with Microsoft, I hope it's Steam. If they could do it right and not milk you for every last cent, I wouldn't mind picking up a Steam box for my kid. I honestly have more problems with Xbox live than I've ever had with Steam.

Steam could make the console wars an actual war again instead of the lopsided hold that Microsoft has on it now.

Yeah, I may have tiffs and fights with steam... but we make sweet love sometimes too. But xbox / windows LIVE... only if I must, and then I always imagine a paper bag lol.

I doubt it. Only if you already can on PC. Since this steam console is just a pc with a custom interface. I think they will still use windows. But who knows. =P
