Good sound system

Gonna put this in music cause not sure where else to put it, anyways I am looking for a sound system for my PC, something that has a nice big SUB and some loud speakers for listening to music, any suggestions? I would prefer 2 speakers and a sub so I can put the speakers on my desk and the sub on the floor. I do not know much about speakers and such so any suggestions? Price range is anything below 200$

im not much of an audiophile. ive build systems, built speakers,high end boxes with an oscilloscope and all. but generally im fine with cheap stuff.

that said, i have had the bose companion2 (i think they are called) speakers, they arre just 2 speakers but they have great sound , plenty of bass, and have lasted. they are around 100.

my advice would be to go to best buy and test them. they will have them on display and you can blast them and decide.

Thanks Zen, and Yeah I probably wont be able to scrap up 200$ anyways, I'll look at bestbuy at test some out.

you can look for Edifier. They are good but kinda expensive.
