Arma 3 Realism Unit

Well as seeing as Beta starts within the next two weeks, I think its time to start talking ARMA III Realism unit.

Some of you know me, some of you don't. So here is a little bit of information that I cooked up with my experience in the OPF/ARMA series.

2002---
Played Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis on and off as a public player.

2007---
First ARMA realism unit joined (10th Mountain Division)
2008-2009
82nd Airborne Division / 75th Ranger Regiment, 2nd Batallion

2009-2011
Taskforce 87 (Army SFOD-D, Airforce Pararescue)

2011-2013
Ravenwood Private Security Company (Administration, CEO)


So yea, I've kinda been doing this for a-while. If anyone is interested, lets get some posts and see what we can put together.

Once my PC is working again ( Only need a copy of windows ) Then I'm game. I've been a part of several realism units in ArmA 2.

I am down on the weekends for this.  Keep me posted and we'll get some games.  Though calling a unit realism in a game like Arma is kind of redundant, no? Since the game itself is all realism.

He talked about it a little last night on TS and it seems to entail creation of a unit for field training, Drills/exercises, Role playing, and maybe a little more.

Sorry I haven't been around in a-while. I have some family members I have to take care of right now.  Well, now that we have some intrest, we need to see what everyone wants to do. We can do something like "Special Operations", be the hammer of a large scale military force, or be a hollywood style PMC.

Sucks it was only 2 seasons!  they were supposed to come to New York City, one of the few cities that wasn't nuked in the show.  I was so proud of our police state!
