Well, I don't like political dramas. Never have and I still don't. My experience with the ones I have tried to watch over the years has not been great one.
House of Cards, however, caught my attention in the first minute of the first episode and now I can't stop watching. Kevin Spacey is amazing. His supporting cast is superb. The character he plays on the show is ruthless and absorbing. The show revolves around a long term congressman who does what any good US Congressman does best, own everyone and care for no one but themselves.
I very much recommend this to everyone. At least watch the first episode because it does a great job at giving you a glimpse as to what to expect of the rest of the season.
